This new section of our website will keep our citizens up to date on the current projects in progress and being completed around Montreal and Gile. If you have any concerns, repairs or projects you would like the city to discuss, please feel free to attend our monthly meetings. Meetings are held on the second Tuesday of every month at 5:30 PM. All citizens are welcome to attend.

Hydrant Flushing

PUBLIC NOTICE
WATER SYSTEM FLUSHING

In an effort to maintain water quality and remove accumulated sediment from its distribution mains, the City of Montreal Water Department will conduct fire hydrant flushing Monday, June 21, Tuesday, June 22 and Wednesday June 23. Flushing will occur between the hours of 12:00 a.m. midnight through 6:00 a.m. to reduce the inconvenience to the public.

Customers may experience discolored water and lower than normal water pressure during this date and time. Inquiries may be directed to the City of Montreal Public Works Department at (715) 561-4957.

Fall Cleanup

Fall Cleanup will be starting October 1st and continuing through October 31st. Please have your leaves at the edge of your street or alley prior to October 31st . Please separate large sticks and branches from the leaves for easier cleanup. The dates are weather permitted and may be extended. Please contact the City with any questions. (715) 561-4955.

PLEASE NOTE: LEAVES MUST BE ON THE STREET SIDE OF THE SIDEWALK. THE TRUCK AND VACUUM CAN NOT DRIVE ON THE GRASS OR SIDEWALK

Spring Cleanup

Tree limbs shall be neatly piled with the ends facing the roadway and no longer than 6 feet in length. Tree limbs and other yard waste shall be separate from leaf piles. NO rocks, boards or lumber of any kind. Please call the City Garage at (715) 561-4957 with any questions.
